I have fond and happy memories of spening many hours with Barbara making and decorating our wedding cake.  We opted for fondant icing which was cutting edge in those days (1984) and between us managed to create a perfect cake.  Barbara also made the desserts for our wedding meal which, I remember rightly, was a recipe made by the Cooking Canon on TV!
